We offer custom matting using the same fine art materials selected by Alain for his own work.

Our custom matting in offered in two styles: Standard and Museum quality. Here is the difference between the two:

Standard Quality Mats:
- Double mat: beige top mat and dark brown inner mat
- 4 ply matboard
- You attach the photograph to the back of the mat with framing tape
- Use this mat when you need an elegant mat at an affordable price

Standard quality mat

Museum Quality Mats:
- Single mat with hinged backing board
- 4 ply, 100% cotton rag Bainbridge off white matboard ("clamshell") used for both mat & backing board
- The mat is attached to the backing board with an archival linen tape hinge
- The hinge can be on the long or short side, at your choice
- Use this mat when you want the best quality possible in a museum-style presentation

The pricing for both types of mats, and the different mat sizes we offer is below. These are the most popular mat sizes. Other sizes are available upon request.

Please indicate the size of the photograph(s) you want to mat when you place your order. We will use this information to cut the mat opening so it fits your photograph.

You can combine different mat size to get the 20+ mats price discount. Your 20 mats can either be all in the same size or in different sizes. All you need to do to get the discount is order 20 mats or more.

Call or email if you have any questions or need a different matting style. Most of our customers prefer to place their orders over the phone. If we are not available leave a message and we will call you back right away.

Shipping:
Shipping costs depend on the weight of your order. Email us the number of mats you need and their size and we will email you the shipping cost by either UPS or Priority Mail depending on the size of your order.

We wil add the shipping costs to your order when we ship it.

All orders are insured and trackable. We ship worldwide. Orders are packed professionally so your mats are totally protected. In the unlikely event your mats arrive damaged simply return them to us and we will replace the damaged mats when we receive your return.

There are no refunds on custom mats because they are cut to your unique specifications. Make sure to take your measurements accurately. We have a $40 minimum order for mats.
